MAP-IT

Cybersecurity has taken front seat to our MAP-IT program. We will be offering the following to our members who currently have no or severely limited cybersecurity capabilities:

1. NexGen Antivirus with Ransomware detection capabilities.
2. Educational software with security awareness online videos, testing and email phishing campaigns.

Training

Representative Barbara Reich Freiberg brought to the 2020 legislative session HB633 that states all state and local employees, officials and contractors have a mandatory training in cybersecurity. This was signed into law as Act155. This training was developed by the state civil service office.

LMA is offering it on our platform by-proxy. This training is a one time mandatory training and you will receive a certificate afterwards. Please visit the LMA Training Site. Log in with your current password used already in other trainings. Alternatively you may contact the state civil service office and request the training.
