The Louisiana Municipal Association maintains and updates several publications.  Please use the form below to order these.  If there is a charge for any of the publications you order, we will send you an invoice.

The following publications are available:

  • Louisiana Municipal Laws, a compilation of Louisiana state statutes affecting municipalities, updated annually;
  • Handbook for Louisiana Municipal Officials, containing the Lawrason Act and information on many issues faced by a municipal official daily, updated as needed;
  • Wage and Salary Survey, containing salary data for common municipal officials for responding municipalities, is now available through Waters Consulting -- see the link here.
  • User Fee Survey Report, containing utility and franchise fee data for responding municipalities, (most recent issue is 1998);
  • Mayor's Court Handbook, providing rules and procedures for mayor's courts in Lawrason Act municipalities, updated as needed, and;
  • Criminal Code, a model code of municipal criminal laws, updated as needed.
