A block of rooms has been reserved at the Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge at a rate of $118/night. Please call (225) 925-2244 to make your reservation and mention that you are with Louisiana Municipal Association’s Mid-Winter Conference 2026. The reservation cut-off date is SATURDAY, JANUARY 3, 2026. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m., unless special arrangements are made directly with the hotel in advance. For your accommodation’s plans, registration will open at 11:00 a.m. with the first session beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3. The conference will conclude at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4.
Mid-Winter: An administrative fee of $45 will be charged for all cancellations of the LMA Mid-Winter Conference, including medical emergencies. No refunds will be given after Tuesday, January 20, 2026 (two weeks prior to the start of the event). Refunds will be issued only if the LMA office receives your cancellation request in the form of a letter on your official letterhead mailed, emailed, faxed, or delivered to our office with a postmark date no later than January 20, 2026. Telephone requests for refunds will not be accepted. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
Gala: An administrative fee of $25 will be charged for all cancellations of the LMA 100 Year Gala, including medical emergencies. GALA REGISTRATION FORM
The LMA's 100 Year Gala will be held on February 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Louisiana's Old State Capitol (100 North Boulevard, Baton Rouge).
Beverages and hors d' oeuvres will be provided along with entertainment by the band, After 8. Cocktail attire is preferred.
Transportation will be provided to/from the Crowne Plaza Hotel (4728 Constitution Ave., Baton Rouge) and Louisiana's Old State Capitol. The LMA sends its gratitude to DIXIELAND for providing the event transportation!
